The main activity of the Uzbek-Korean joint stock – UzDong Yang Co. began in 1996 after agreement signed about a joint venture between the South Korean company “Dong Yang Eva Industries Co. Ltd” and the joint stock company UzAvtosanoat.
The enterprise is created to provide the interior parts for Nexia, Damas, Matiz, Spark, Cobalt and Gentra vehicles produced in “GM-Uzbekistan”. This allowed to reduce the volume of imports of automotive parts and thereby save the state’s foreign exchange stock, as well as create new jobs for the population and implement a program to localize the production of components for domestic cars.
The company mainly specializes in production of interior trim components for cars, including the finishing of doors, ceiling panels, tool panels, carpeting and tailgate covers for car seats.
The companies production lines are equipped with advanced technologies of the well-known company “Dong Kwang Tek Co. Ltd”, press equipment of the company “Hosung”, “KUK DONG”, “KUM KWANG CO Ltd” S.Korea. For casting plastic parts “LS Mtron Ltd” Yu. Korea, as well as for cutting cover materials, “Topcut bullmer” and “JENOPTIK” airbag Germany. Company employees went through the training sessions at the Dong Kwang Tek Co. Ltd. More than 800 workers and employees work at the company.
In 2007, the company implemented a quality management system in accordance with the standard ISO 9001: 2000. In April 2010, recertified according to the quality management system in accordance with the standard ISO 9001: 2008. In August 2011, environmental management and management systems of OZIBT were introduced in accordance with ISO 14001: 2004 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 standards.
Annual capacity of the enterprise is to manufacture the interior decoration parts for more than 2500000 vehicles.
Our main trading partners: “GM-Uzbekistan” JSC (interior parts for cars), JV “Uz Tong Hong Co.” (seat covers) and “UzErae Climate Control” (Accessories for SPARK, MATIZ, COBALT and Lacetti vehicles). In small volumes, the enterprise’s products are sold through car-care centers and trading companies within the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Company products are sold to the car-care centers and interior part selling shops within the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Company management is putting significant amont of effort in order to open new opportunities and challenge in a new markets.
