Our company achived the certificate of a new standard for the quality management system of enterprises in the automotive industry IATF 16949: 2016, and a new version of the international standard of the quality management system ISO 9001: 2015.
One of the most used documents in the automotive industry for quality management is ISO/TS 16949, which is a technical requirement for the quality management systems of the automotive industry. It was developed in 1999 by the International Automotive Industry Working Group (IATF) in conjunction with ISO / TC 176 and aims to harmonize the various assessment and certification systems in the global supply chain of the automotive industry.
In October 2016 a new standard IATF 16949: 2016 was published, which replaced ISO / TS 16949: 2009. The industry standard IATF 16949: 2016 is based on the structure and text of the latest version of the standard for quality management systems ISO 9001: 2015.
IATF 16949: 2016 is an addition to ISO 9001 and modifies it into a standard specific to automotive component suppliers.
